POLICY

Please carefully read the following before and after booking an appointment with us

Payment Methods: Debit / Credit (Online Booking), e-Transfer, Cash
HAIR PREPARATION
  • Please come with clean and detangled hair (a blow out fee would be included $25 – $40, depending on how much time is needed to detangle hair).
  • It is recommended before a hair appointment; that the hair and scalp be free of products (oils, conditioners, gel, etc.) in order not to interfere with the process and ensure optimal results. Feel free to come with preferred products if you need them applied during and after the service.
  • Applicable braiding/hair service prices include hair extensions; unless stated otherwise.
  • Hair Take downs don’t include a Wash (detangling comes with an extra fee)
  • Braids Touch-Up does not include braiding hair, it would have to be provided by the client or purchased from our store. (Please ask in advance for availability and/or preferred colour)
 
 
DEPOSIT FEE

When booking an appointment; a non-refundable deposit fee of $45 is required to secure your preferred date and time. Triple A Braids is unable to hold/guarantee an appointment slot availability without a deposit.

Please note that although this deposit is non-refundable (except in an instance due to braider availability) It is deducted from the total cost of service and only the balance paid at the end of the service.

 
CANCELATION  POLICY

We understand that life happens and plans change; therefore, appointments can be rescheduled at least 48 hours prior to the booked appointment time. However, this can only be allowed once a year, without forfeiting the deposit fee and only If a new appointment is booked and fulfilled within 3 months.

If notice for rescheduling is given less than 48 hours before a booked appointment time and/or for the second time in a year. The deposit fee will be forfeited as compensation to the braider for lost time and wages.

An adjusted new booking deposit fee of $80 will be required for a previous no-show client and for clients who have to reschedule more than 3 times.

 
LATENESS

A late fee of $30 may be applied to your appointment if you are more than 15 minutes late. This is at the discretion of the braider and/or if the lateness disrupts other business activities.

If you know you will be late for an appointment, please inform us beforehand. Although this may not change the grace period (30 minutes from start time) before a late appointment is deemed a no-show; it shows that you respect our time.

 
No-Show Appointments

All No-Show appointments shall also forfeit their deposit fee.

No-show appointments can be classified as but not limited to client(s):

  • who do not show up to a scheduled appointment without prior 48 hours notice
  • who is more than 30 minutes late to a scheduled appointment (with or without notice)
  • who cancels or modifies an appointment after the start time or within 48 hours of the appointment start time.

 

PLEASE NOTE: If you book an appointment to occur within the 48-hours window, be aware that you are still bound by this cancelation policy. So please be sure of your availability before proceeding.

Notice should be given in writing only; with SMS and IG messages as the preferred means.

 
Braider Availability Changes Cancelation

If an appointment needs to be canceled by the braider, a 36 – 12 hours notice would be provided by call or SMS. A full refund will be issued if requested or the client will be rescheduled to the next available and convenient time.
